East Texas deputy killed in car crash

TRINITY COUNTY, Texas – An East Texas law enforcement agency is mourning the loss of one of its employees.

“Deputy Fester was active as a full-time deputy before changing his status to become a reserve deputy for both the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office and the Walker County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office,” said Sheriff Wallace. “For the past 12+ years, Deputy Fester served his community and the citizens of both counties and will be truly missed by all who knew and worked with him.”

Sheriff Wallace asked community members to keep Fester’s family and loved ones in their prayers.

Details about the crash and the memorial services were not immediately available.
