Police investigate stabbing in Krutch Park

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – On Sunday, Knoxville Police announced they are investigating a stabbing that occurred late Saturday night in Krutch Park.

According to KPD, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 11:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they reported finding a man believed to be homeless suffering from a stab wound. The KPD press release states he was stabbed by a shaved-headed white man who had fled the area.

Officers were unable to locate the attacker after a brief search of the area. The stabbed man was taken to UT Medical Center with serious injuries.
