Investigation underway after body found near Caughlin Ranch Parkway

RENO, Nevada (KOLO) – An investigation is ongoing after a body was found in the Caughlin Ranch Parkway area.

On Tuesday morning around 8:30 a.m., officers from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and REMSA were called to the Parkway and Buckaroo Circle for a medical emergency.

When they arrived, rescuers found a dead person in a creek in the area.

Detectives were notified and rushed to investigate the death.

WCSO says there is no threat to the public at this time, but asks that you avoid the area.
