Three arrested for attempted rape

Karachi police have arrested three suspects who attempted to rape a schoolgirl and recorded a video in Malir Jafar Tayyar area. According to reports, the schoolgirl went to her friend’s house where some boys attempted to rape her and filmed the incident.

Police said the suspects made a video of the victim and threatened to circulate it on the internet. A case of attempted rape and extortion was registered. The case was registered at Malir City police station and the suspects, who had the video on their mobile phones, were arrested.

The student who was the victim of the incident said the suspects tried to rape her and then made a video to blackmail her. Earlier on Tuesday, a seven-year-old girl was raped by an unidentified man in Karachi’s Orangi Town.
