Fatal accident in Penn Hills on Allegheny River Blvd.

One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Penn Hills Tuesday morning, Allegheny County police said. The collision occurred just after 8:15 a.m. on Allegheny River Boulevard near Sandy Creek Road and the Verona Line. Investigators say a 70-year-old woman was driving a car that hit a curb, crossed the center line and collided with a Jeep. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Police said the other driver was not injured. The name of the deceased person has not been released as district police continue to investigate. This is a developing story. One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Penn Hills Tuesday morning, Allegheny County police said.

The collision occurred just after 8:15 a.m. on Allegheny River Boulevard near Sandy Creek Road and the Verona Line.

According to investigators, a 70-year-old woman drove a car into a curb, crossed the center line and collided with a Jeep.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the other driver was not injured.

The name of the deceased person has not been released as district police continue to investigate.
