City of Buffalo opens water features for Memorial Day weekend

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Warm temperatures over Memorial Day weekend prompted the city of Buffalo to open splash pads.

The city’s 10 water games will be open Saturday May 25, Sunday May 26 and Monday May 27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“They are a great community asset and a safe family environment, so we are very happy to be able to do this. Special thanks to Deputy Commissioner Rabb and the entire parks team for getting these up and ready for the season so we can open and enjoy them all year round. So from a DPW perspective, invite everyone to come to our splash pads, have fun, be safe and be respectful of each other,” said Buffalo Department of Public Works Commissioner Nate Marton, in a statement.
