1 dead, 2 injured in crash in Florence County

FLORENCE COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Friday morning near Florence that left one person dead and two others injured.

It happened at 6:55 a.m. on Highway 301 near South Wallace Road.

According to Lance Cpl, a 2006 Lexus SUV traveling north on the highway collided with a 2023 GMC pickup and a 2022 Kia Rio that were traveling south. Lena Butler.

All three drivers were taken to hospital. The driver of the Kia died there.

The name of this driver has not yet been published.
