Man arrested after lying about hit-and-run

They say it happened after midnight at Russell Parkway and Booth Road.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – A man was arrested and charged Tuesday for reporting a hit-and-run, according to a news release from Warner Robins Police.

They say it happened after midnight at Russell Parkway and Booth Road.

Officers responded to a call of a man who had been hit by a car and whose driver had left the scene. The press release states that debris was left behind from the accident.

The man was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.

Officers later received a call from Tamarious Head who said his car had been hit by another car at another location.

The press release states that debris left from the first accident matched Head’s car. He is now charged with false reporting, serious vehicle injury and duty to report an accident.
