(KRON) — A fourth juvenile has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Sunnyvale in April, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety said in a news release Monday. The suspect, whose identity was not released because of his age, was arrested without incident in San Diego on Thursday, July 25.

He was returned to the Bay Area and is currently in custody at the Santa Clara County Juvenile Detention Center, authorities said.

The first suspect, also a minor, was arrested about a week after the shooting. In June, two more suspects were arrested – also minors.

The shooting occurred around 12:07 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, in the 100 block of S. Bernardo Avenue. Authorities said a man in a vehicle was shot at the scene. He later died at the hospital.

Sunnyvale DPS is still actively investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Tiffany Shillito at 408-730-7110.
