Fourth and final suspect arrested in connection with Greenville shooting

Greenville police officials said a fourth and final suspect has been arrested in connection with a July 6 shooting.

According to officials, the incident occurred along Pitt Street around 5 p.m. on July 6, 2024. Investigators say they found a man who had been shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting. They say the victim was taken to ECU Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said they found Trevon Delaney and Dontravion Waller in the suspect vehicle that same day. Both were arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Police believe both were in the car at the time of the shooting.

Later on July 15, 2024, authorities’ investigations led to Victor Rivera as the prime suspect. He was arrested and charged with murder.

Finally, on July 27, 2024, the fourth and final suspect, De’Rondai Hill, was arrested on Stone Bend Drive. He is also charged with aiding and abetting attempted murder.
