Child injured by air rifle in Barnstable: Police – NBC Boston

Authorities are investigating an incident in which a 7-year-old boy was hit in the leg by a projectile in Barnstable, Massachusetts, on Thursday.

Barnstable police said they arrived in the area of ​​Mary Dunn Road and Independence Drive around 7:50 p.m.

The child was taken to Cape Cod Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, authorities said.
