Prince Harry has revealed in a new interview that he is afraid of bringing Meghan Markle back to Britain in the event of an “acid attack” or “knife attack.”

In the new ITV documentary Tabloid newspapers in courtwhich aired on Thursday, the 39-year-old said he would not bring his wife back to Britain due to safety concerns sparked in part by the press.

He said: “All it takes is a single actor, a person reading this stuff and acting on what they’ve read… and whether it’s a knife or acid, whatever it is.”

The prince added that the late Queen supported his fight against the tabloid press “up there”. He had had many discussions with the late monarch about press interference and she supported his steps against it.

“She knew how much this meant to me, and she’s all there and says, ‘See this through to the end,'” he said.

Harry and Meghan moved to California in June 2020 after giving up their jobs as members of the royal family. The couple no longer has an official residence in the UK.

Meghan Markle will ‘probably’ miss the British Invictus Games

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said OK! Magazine: “Until this incident is resolved and Harry is given the guaranteed police protection he believes he needs for himself and his family – a demand I have some understanding for – I cannot imagine him bringing Meghan and the children here.

“The security issue always provides a credible excuse for Meghan and the children not coming to the UK.

“Personally, I don’t think she would ever want to come back here, but I think she will be well aware that her absence from something like the Invictus Games – her husband’s greatest achievement – would signal more than just security concerns.”

Royals at the Olympic Games: From Princess Anne to King Felipe of Spain

Glamorous, competitive and steeped in history, the Olympic Games remain the most prestigious event in the world of sport, so it should come as no surprise that a number of royals have attended the tournament over the years.

An Olympic medal remains the most prestigious – and one of the most unlikely – achievements in sport, as each country sends only its very best athletes to compete on the world stage.

In several cases, members of the British, Monegasque, Jordanian, Spanish and Emirati royal families were among them.

The Duke of Sussex appeared nervous when asked about his father King Charles and sister-in-law Kate’s battles with cancer.

In ITV’s new documentary Tabloid newspapers in courtwhich aired on Thursday, presenter Rebecca Barry asked the prince: “Both your father and your sister-in-law were unwell.

“I think it’s a reminder to all of us that life is precious.

“Do you ever think, ‘It’s not worth it. Life is just too short for these legal battles?'”

Prince Harry seemed shocked by the question and replied: “Um, I don’t think continuing these legal battles is the kind of thing I…

“The two things are completely separate.

“Um, you know, my father, my sister-in-law and I, you know, going through these legal battles are two completely different things.”

According to royal expert, the Queen felt increasingly isolated before her death

According to a royal biographer, the late queen felt increasingly isolated in the months leading up to her death due to the loss of several close friends and her husband, Prince Philip.

Robert Jobson claimed that she had started inviting former employees to visit. One employee revealed: “She told me she didn’t know anyone (her employees and servants) anymore.”

In her final months, she enjoyed regular visits and phone calls with her grandson Prince William, who had recently moved to Adelaide Cottage near Windsor Castle.

An adviser said: “Prince William knew that the time he spent with his grandmother was precious and he is delighted that the couple have made this decision.”
