A Connecticut man was arrested on drug charges following a police operation in Burlington earlier this week.

Burlington police arrested Christopher Stevens, 37, of Hartford on Tuesday during a drug trafficking investigation at a Buell Street home.

According to police, investigators had monitored the location for an extended period of time and made several controlled purchases before they were able to intervene.

Stevens was arrested after a brief foot chase and arraigned on the charges on Wednesday. He was later jailed for failure to post $17,500 bail.
