Fort Totten man arrested after hours-long standoff in Grand Forks | The Mighty 790 KFGO

GRAND FORKS, ND (KFGO) – A Fort Totten man is in custody following a standoff lasting several hours in Grand Forks Monday afternoon.

Grand Forks police said officers from their department and agents with the FBI were searching for 32-year-old Collin Posey, who was wanted on two federal warrants and five Grand Forks County warrants.

When officers found him leaving, Posey jumped through an open apartment window. A woman from the apartment came out and said Posey had entered without her permission.

Officials surrounded the building and sent drones and a bomb robot into the apartment.

The Grand Forks Area SWAT team eventually arrived and arrested Posey without further incident.

No one was injured in the standoff.
