CNN accused of bias for ignoring Trump’s responsibility for sexual harassment in ‘unbelievable reporting’

CNN has been accused of siding with Donald Trump after the network concealed the fact that the former president was found guilty of sexual assault in a recent report.

A jury found that Trump sexually assaulted a magazine writer in a store years ago and ordered him to pay millions of dollars for the assault and the defamation that followed when she identified herself years later.

However, CNN published an article on Saturday with the headline: “Trump has long been criticized for his public treatment of women. People in his life say he is different in private.”

The strange juxtaposition did not go unnoticed.

Ammar Moussa, d.President Joe Biden’s rapid response director called the news coverage into action.

“Incredible reporting from (CNN) here. Who are you going to believe? Your eyes, the justice system and Donald Trump’s own words?” the director asked Saturday. “Or the people the Trump campaign fed (to CNN national political reporter Arit John).”

@egoldstein replied: “The media is behind Trump.”

“He has instilled fear into them and made them submit, and now they all want to make sure they are in a position to succeed should he win,” the report said. “Integrity has disappeared. Personal ambition has taken its place.”

Political scientist Dr. Miranda Yaver also weighed in:

“Judge: Trump raped E. Jean Carroll. CNN: OK, but what about all the women he didn’t rape?”

Author Patrick S. Tomlinson said: “We know how Trump treats women privately. He rapes them.”

“What are you doing anyway, CNN?” he asked on Saturday.

HuffPost Reporter Sebastian Murdock said that the CNN article also mentioned civil liability.

“If you’re interested, this story finally mentions that Trump was found guilty of sexual assault by a jury. It’s a single line 27 charts down.”
