Clark Lane closed from the entrance to The Links to East St. Charles Road due to “police operation”

COLUMBIA, Missouri (KMIZ)

Due to an unknown police incident, Clark Lane is closed Thursday morning from the entrance to the Links Apartment Complex to East St. Charles Road.

ABC 17 News crews arrived on scene around 2:30 a.m. and saw four Columbia Police vehicles, an area cordoned off with crime scene tape, and several evidence markers.

Shortly after 2 a.m., Boone County Emergency Services issued a public alert about the police incident but did not provide further details.

ABC 17 News is working to obtain further information.
