Teenager arrested in connection with armed robbery in Baltimore

Baltimore, Maryland — A 16-year-old male was arrested by the Baltimore Police Department’s Warrant Apprehension Task Force (WATF) for his involvement in an armed robbery. The incident occurred on June 23, 2024 in the 100 block of E. Lexington Street.

The arrest was made on July 12, 2024, and the suspect has since been taken to the Central Intake Booking Facility (CBIF) to face charges for the crime. The Baltimore Police Department continues its efforts to combat and reduce youth involvement in violent crime.

  • Indiana foster mother wanted for suspected murder of her 10-year-old adopted son

    Valparaiso, Indiana — An arrest warrant has been issued for Jennifer Lee Wilson, a 48-year-old foster mother from Indiana, on suspicion of killing her 10-year-old adopted son, Dakota Stevens, by allegedly sitting on him for several minutes after he asked a neighbor to call 911 about the abuse.

    Wilson is charged with negligent homicide not involving the use of a motor vehicle.

    The Porter County Sheriff’s Office reported that on April 25, at approximately 3:37 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting an unresponsive 10-year-old boy at a home in the 200 block of Falcon Way in Valparaiso, Indiana, about 150 miles northwest of Indianapolis.

    Upon arrival, rescuers found Dakota lying on the ground near the driveway. He was unresponsive, not breathing, and had no pulse. CPR was performed and rescuers noted visible bruising to his lower neck and chest.

    The investigation into Dakota’s death is ongoing and authorities are looking for Jennifer Lee Wilson in connection with the case.

  • Indiana father charged with aggravated neglect after daughter takes fentanyl

    Indiana — A 3-year-old Indiana girl ingested fentanyl from a pill grinder found in her father’s backpack, leading to aggravated neglect charges against the father, authorities reported.

    Devin D’rell Rollins, 25, is currently in custody and is charged with neglect of a dependent person. The girl, whose identity is still unknown, has recovered and is now safe with family members.

    The incident came to light on June 30, when Rollins and his daughter were staying at the girl’s aunt’s house. According to an affidavit obtained by local Fox and CBS affiliate WXIN, the father reportedly informed the aunt that his daughter may have taken Tylenol.

    When the aunt noticed that the girl was lethargic, she called 911 and the girl was subsequently taken to the hospital. Hospital staff were unable to locate Rollins, who was initially believed to be with his daughter.

    The Department of Children and Family Services (DCS) and the police were notified and involved in the case.
