Several people die in house fire in Bayou Blue

BAYOU BLUE, Louisiana (WGNO) – A house fire in Bayou Blue in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 13, left several people dead.

According to an announcement from Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre, the Bayou Blue Volunteer Fire Department responded to a 911 call regarding the fire, which occurred around 3:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Louise Lane.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the situation in conjunction with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office.
