“Buffalo is the worst place in the world”

The Buffalo Bills are known for having an extremely passionate fan base, arguably the most ardent fans in all of football. But not every NFL player loves the Buffalo location. Especially not new Miami Dolphins tight end Jonnu Smith.

Smith, who previously played in the AFC East for two seasons as a member of the New England Patriots, doesn’t appear to be a big fan of the Buffalo area.

In fact, he called Buffalo “the worst place in the world to live” during a recent podcast appearance, before criticizing a number of Buffalo staples, including the traditional Buffalo Wings and the team’s fan base in general.

“That’s why the fans hate it so much because they want to be here (in Miami)”, Smith said on The Dive Bar podcast“You ever been to Buffalo? Oh, my God, man. I don’t know how these guys do it. I don’t know how they did it. I don’t know how they did it, man. To come from anywhere in the country, man, and go to Buffalo. That’s probably the worst place in the world you could be. And Buffalo wings ain’t even good. I throw all kinds of jabs at Buffalo.”

Obviously, this should further fuel the bitter rivalry between the Bills and Dolphins.

Unfortunately for Smith, the Bills won both games against the Dolphins last season, so he’ll have to be productive on the field to back up all his negative comments about the team and the city as a whole if he wants to avoid scrutiny.
