Seattle man arrested in San Jose as part of investigation into “pimping and procuring”

(KRON) – A Seattle man was arrested in San Jose for allegedly attempting to arrange a meeting with a woman for the purpose of sex trafficking, according to San Jose police.

On June 1, detectives with the San Jose Human Trafficking Task Force conducted a pimping and procuring investigation when they discovered that a man contacted a person he believed to be a woman online and arranged to exploit her for commercial sex trafficking.


The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Rashan Fellows of Seattle.

According to police, Fellows came to San Jose on June 8 to engage in sex trafficking with the woman. Fellows was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on offenses related to commercial sex trafficking.
