3-year-old dead after accident in Greene County

A three-year-old died on Tuesday after an accident in Greene County.

At around 7:30 p.m., Greene County officials were called to the 200 block of North Bickett Road for a report of an accident.

When officers arrived on scene, they learned that a three-year-old was seriously injured, according to Sergeant Jeremy Wygladalski of the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Wygladalski, the child was taken to the hospital, where his death was pronounced shortly after arrival.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was also dispatched to the accident.

No further information was available.

The accident remains under investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, with additional information expected to be released Wednesday.
