VSP investigates car crash that killed 45-year-old man in Bedford County on Sunday

BEDFORD COUNTY, Virginia. – According to VSP, Virginia State Police are currently investigating a car crash that killed a 45-year-old man on Sunday.

The accident occurred at 5:35 p.m. on Rocky Ford Road, two-tenths of a mile east of Thaxton Mountain Road in Bedford County, we were told.

A 2016 Jeep Wrangler was traveling west on Rocky Ford Road when the Wrangler left the right side of the road and struck a tree, ejecting the driver, VSP said.

The driver of the Jeep was identified as Adam Terrell of Goodview. We’re told Terrell was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.

According to VSP, alcohol was a factor in the accident.
