Roma withdraws hotly contested Adidas tracksuit and suspends Chief Commercial Officer Michael Wandell

Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin decided to act in light of recent fan protests against the latest Adidas tracksuit.

The much-discussed, but above all controversial light blue Adidas sweatshirt was taken off the market at the request of Roma and its owners.

According to Jacopo Aliprandi of Sports CorriereRoma has also initiated disciplinary proceedings against Chief Commercial and Brand Officer Michael Wandell, who is responsible, among other things, for the introduction of the Adidas jerseys for the new line of the 2024/25 season.

Wandell has already been suspended from his duties.

The American owners believe that such a serious mistake cannot be made towards the fans, who are rightly angry.

The Friedkins have always stated that they want to be the guardians of the Roma and their values, and that is why they have come to such a strong decision.
