1 dead, 1 arrested after shooting in north Denver

One person has died and another has been arrested following a shooting Monday night in north Denver, according to a Denver Police Department post on X.

The shooting occurred near East 48th Avenue and Dahlia Street, according to a Denver Police post at 8:52 p.m. Fourteen minutes later, the department sent an update saying, “The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.”
