Man attacked while sleeping in his home in Bog Walk | News

A 41-year-old construction worker remains in hospital in serious condition after he was shot by unknown assailants while he was sleeping at his home in Bog Walk, St Catherine, early Sunday morning.

According to reports, the man was awakened in bed at around 4:10 a.m. by loud explosions.

Then he noticed that he had injuries to his head, back and leg.

He ran out of his apartment, sought refuge and later called the police.

The victim was taken to Linstead Public Hospital where his condition was serious.

Bog Walk Police are investigating the incident.
