Rehrig Pacific employee killed in work accident at Dinwiddie plant

DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — An employee was killed in a workplace accident at a Dinwiddie County factory early Thursday morning.

According to a Dinwiddie County Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson, emergency crews responded to an industrial accident at Rehrig Pacific on Weakley Road around 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 27.

One employee died in the accident. No other injuries were reported.

According to the spokesman, further details of the incident are not yet known at this time.
