Spokane police arrest man accused in north Spokane shooting | Spokane News

SPOKANE, Washington – The Spokane Police Department (SPD) has arrested a man accused of a shooting in north Spokane on Tuesday.

According to the department, the Major Crimes Unit believes the 23-year-old man arrested by officers knew the man he shot and is believed to have an extensive history of violent crimes.

According to police, he was arrested in Spokane Valley near Pines and I90. Police did not provide any information about how long he was detained.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner has not yet released the identity of the shooting victim.
