Waukesha police respond to shotgun attack outside Target store

Waukesha police responded to an attack with a shotgun outside the parking lot of the Target store at 1250 W. Sunset Drive on June 16 around 10 p.m. Police said officers arrested five teens between the ages of 16 and 17. Police said the teens used Orbeez gel pellets to shoot customers leaving the store. Four people reported minor injuries and welts, police said. The teens told police they were playing a social media game. Waukesha police told WISN 12 News this is the eighth incident involving Orbeez gel pellets reported to them in June.

According to police, five teenagers between the ages of 16 and 17 were arrested.

According to police, the teenagers shot Orbeez gel pellets at customers who were leaving the store.

According to police, four people reported minor injuries and welts.

The teenagers told police they were playing a social media game.
