Aurora handyman Jose Valezquez-Flores charged with sexually abusing 16-year-old girl at Joliet home on Silver Ridge Drive: police

JOLIET, Ill. (WLS) – A tradesman is facing charges of sexual abuse of a minor following an incident that allegedly occurred at his job in one of the southern suburbs earlier this year.

Joliet police said Jose Valezquez-Flores was hired to do repairs at a home on Silver Ridge Drive on April 25. Police were notified of the incident on May 7.

During his stay at the home, Valezquez-Flores is said to have had inappropriate sexual contact with a 16-year-old girl.

Investigators said Velazquez-Flores admitted to the crime during questioning on Tuesday and is now in custody.
