On June 1, police were called to the intersection of Routes 228 and 19 because a vehicle, later identified as being driven by Cardona-Mancia, nearly collided with another vehicle on Route 228. When the other driver honked, Cardona-Mancia reportedly pulled out the gun and waved it.

When Cardona-Mancia was stopped near Cranberry Mall, police found the gun in the passenger seat door pocket. According to court documents, the gun was reported stolen in Louisville, KY in 2022.

After Cardona-Mancia allowed police to search the vehicle more closely, suspected crack cocaine was discovered.

Adding to Cardona-Mancia’s legal problems was the fact that his driver’s license had been revoked at the time of his arrest.

Cardona-Mancia is currently being held at Butler County Prison and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 21.
