Man shot on Fayetteville Street in Durham

DURHAM, NC — A man was killed in a shooting late Monday night in Durham.

At 9:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting near Fayetteville Street and Linwood Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. The victim was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

This is an ongoing investigation and appears to be an isolated case.
