With sword in hand, rapist tries to kidnap a woman to prevent her marriage to another man

A man brandishing a sword and holding an iron rod tightly in his hand entered a woman’s house during her wedding to kidnap her. The man, Kalu alias Salim Khan allegedly raped the 22-year-old woman and defamed her with a video. And now, when the woman finally tried to get over her condition, Kalu barged back into her life to stop her from marrying another man. He along with his gang continued to attack her family. The incident took place on Wednesday in Ashok Nagar in Madhya Pradesh.

How the rapist tried to kidnap the woman

According to reports, Kalu, Jodha, Sameer and Shahrukh entered the woman’s house at around 6 pm and disrupted the wedding ceremony. The woman, whom the gang wanted to kidnap, resisted. To show her the consequences of her resistance, Kalu and his accomplice brutally attacked her family. They broke their father’s leg and their brother’s arm and injured their mother.

Kalu and other attackers dragged the woman out of her house. As the woman and her family screamed for help, a crowd gathered to protect them. As the crowd grew larger, the attackers fled the scene without taking the woman with them.

However, they threatened the woman’s family and the man she married.

Initially, the police refused to register the case. However, after the intervention of a local religious organisation, the complaint was registered late Wednesday evening based on the complaints of the woman and her father.

The fictional and real identity of the woman

In the above case, a woman who had survived rape was trying to start a new life. She wanted to get married, and not to her rapist. Marrying a rape victim is not a common concept in our society. A raped woman is considered useless and does not deserve to live a dignified life. According to many ignorant sections of the society, a woman’s vagina is inside her vagina. If she is violated by any man before her marriage, she becomes a disgrace to her family and society. However, men who have committed rape are either released on bail or are allowed to roam freely with impunity.

The fact that this man dared to come in with a sword and try to kidnap a woman he had previously raped shows that we are heading towards worse times. Through his violence, he has imposed his ownership status on the woman. It was with this mindset that Kalu stormed into the woman’s house and claimed ownership, preventing the woman from moving on and forgetting her trauma.

If the woman had gone out to kill her tormentor, society would not have supported her. Now that the tormentor had done the same, it took hours for the police to file a complaint. That is the difference between a goddess and a man who worships her. No matter how powerful the goddess is, the man obviously still has more power.
