Police investigate suspicious package in downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN, Nebraska (KOLN) – Police are investigating a suspicious package found in downtown Lincoln Thursday night, Lincoln police said.

Lincoln Police and Fire Department officers were called to 12th and 0 streets around 6:15 p.m. for a suspicious package found in a nearby building. A 11/10 reporter said a hazardous materials response team was on scene assisting.

Police have closed 12th Street between O and N Streets.
