Authorities search for missing man

PHOENIX – A Silver Alert was issued Wednesday evening for a West Valley man who went missing after leaving his home that morning.

Roger Holm, 77, was last seen around 10:30 a.m. walking near Sweetwater and 176th Avenue in Surprise, in a neighborhood near Citrus and Cactus Road.

Holm, who suffers from several illnesses, is 1.85 m tall, weighs 77 kg and has blue eyes and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing an army cap, a dark blue t-shirt, black pants, a black jacket around his waist and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call Surprise police at 623-222-4000.
