Cleveland police: Man dead after stabbing, suspect arrested

CLEVELAND – A suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing attack of a 64-year-old man.

According to Cleveland Police, the incident occurred around 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28. Officers were called to the 8300 block of Lake Avenue for reports of an “unknown incident.” When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim with numerous injuries that appeared to be the result of a stabbing. Cleveland EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

After initial investigations, police arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the stabbing.

The Cleveland Police Department’s Homicide Unit continues to investigate the incident.

The names of the victim and suspect have yet to be released.
