KUWAIT CITY, May 25: First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Minister of Defense Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef has ordered the arrest of several officials and individuals at a police station in Jahra. This decision was taken within the framework of the impartial and non-discriminatory application of the law.

According to the sources, the ministry’s Supervision and Inspection Department received information about inmates involved in a fight at the police station. It was reported that one of those involved was detained outside the prison, indicating possible discriminatory treatment. Subsequently, an order was issued to suspend and arrest the officials and individuals responsible and to investigate the incident.
