Kibbutz Nir Yitzchak Announces Death of Lior Rudaeff, Killed on October 7; Body held by Hamas in Gaza

Kibbutz Nir Yitzchak announced on Tuesday evening the death of one of its members, Lior Rudaeff, who was killed in the Hamas attacks on October 7.

The Hostages and Missing Families Forum confirmed that Lior Rudaeff, previously believed to have been held captive by Hamas in Gaza, was indeed murdered on October 7 and his body was taken to Gaza.

“The Hostages Families Forum mourns the murder of Lior Rudaeff. May his memory be a blessing. We share the deep sadness of the Rudaeff family,” the forum statement said.

They continued: “The Family Forum bows with sadness and heartbreak at the discovery that Lior Rudaeff, of blessed memory, was murdered on October 7 and his body was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists to Gaza. The Forum will continue to provide assistance and support to Lior’s family during this extremely difficult time until his body is returned to Israel for proper burial.

Lior, of Argentinean descent, was married to his wife Yaffa for 38 years.

He was father to Noam, Nadav, Bar and Ben and grandfather to Tomer and Dagan.
