Investigation into Wednesday’s stabbing on South Boston MBTA – NBC Boston

Police are investigating a reported stabbing Wednesday near an MBTA station in South Boston.

The Boston Police Department confirmed it is assisting the MBTA Transit Police with the investigation. NBC10 Boston has reached out to the Transit Police for information.

According to the MBTA, subway Red Line trains are bypassing Andrew Square station due to police operations.

The entrance to the station was taped off and several police vehicles were on site.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
