Exclusive! No decision has been taken to stop film activities so far: KFCC President NM Suresh

A section of Kannada film industry producers and exhibitors have demanded that film activities be temporarily halted to address various issues related to the Kannada film industry. Troubled by the losses suffered Kannada film industry Of late, a section of producers, distributors and exhibitors have demanded that the industry’s activities be temporarily halted to address issues plaguing the Kannada film industry.

Sources say several proposals have been put forward for consideration, including the possibility of closing individual cinemas in line with events in the year Telangana. It may be recalled that the Telangana Film Exhibitors Association has decided to temporarily close at least 450 individual cinemas in Telangana for 10 to 15 days from May 15 to compensate for the losses of the cinemas.
