Missing Persons Unit has been renewed for Season 3 on Fox

Alert: Missing Persons Department will continue to report for duty after Fox renewed the process for Season 3. The number of episodes has not yet been determined.

The news comes four days early Warning: MPUThe Season 2 finale airs Tuesday, May 14 (at 9/8c). TVLine’s renewal/cancellation scorecard has therefore been updated.

Season so far, Warning: MPU is averaging 2.6 million total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating (with Live+7 viewing), a sharp decline of 32% and 40%, respectively, from its freshman numbers.

Of the 24 entertainment programs Fox has aired this TV season, it ranks 6th in audience, while only cleaning woman, So you think you can dance, TMZ investigates, Grimsburg And The Great North Drag a smaller demo number.

Located in the Philadelphia PD’s Missing Persons Unit (MPU). Alert: Missing Persons Department Each episode features the life-threatening search for a missing person led by Detectives Jason Grant and Nikki Batista (played by Scott Caan and Dania Ramirez). After their marriage, Jason and Nikki have a very personal connection to their cases, as their own young son went missing and was never found – despite what Season 1 long suggested.

At MPU, Nikki leads a team that includes Mike Sherman (Ryan Broussard, Just murders in the building), the fiancé with whom she planned a wedding, and Kemi Adebayo (Adeola Role, The black list), a spiritually versed detective.

For season 2, Family law Alum Alisha-Marie Ahamed joined the mix in the series regular role of Wayne Pascal, a master hacker who Jason worked with while he was in Afghanistan Ally McBeal Graduate Gil Bellows reprises the role of Inspector Hollis Braun, Nikki and Jason’s new boss, who “arrived with the intention of keeping their antics in check.”

In addition to Warning: MPU, Fox’s 2024-25 scripted slate includes: 9-1-1: Lone Star (Season 5), Accused (Season 2), Animal control (Season 3), Bob’s Burgers (Season 15), family Guy (Season 23), Grimsburg (Season 2), Krapopolis (already renewed for seasons 2 and 3) and The simpsons (Season 36).

At Fox we’re still in the bubble The Great North (which is still waiting for the official announcement of season 5) and The cleaning lady (which would occur in season 4).
