Devil’s Slide accident: 2 dead after car plunges over cliff in San Mateo County

SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) — Two people were killed when a car plunged over a cliff near Devil’s Slide in San Mateo County on Friday.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. and the cause is still under investigation.

Both sides of the highway are expected to remain closed while emergency crews investigate and clear the scene.
