Gypsum sales suspended – The Hindu

Gypsum sales have been discontinued in 18 fertilizer stores in Tiruvarur and Mannargudi divisions.

According to an official press release, officials of the District Agriculture Department recently conducted unannounced inspections at 18 fertilizer shops in Tiruvarur and Mannargudi districts. They took samples of gypsum sold in the shops. The samples were sent for testing and until the test results are received, the sale of gypsum has been suspended.
