Edinburgh Sheriff Court was told that he then punched his ex on the head.

The perpetrator who raped a teenager near Rosslyn Chapel, a central setting in the 2003 novel The Da Vinci Code, was arrested following the attack in South Queensferry in West Lothian in April last year.

The serial offender admitted to committing assault and possessing a prohibited SIM card while in custody in the city prison.

However, the prosecution pleaded not guilty to charges of threatening or abusive behaviour by shouting, swearing, making threats and repeatedly punching a bus stop in South Queensferry.

Sheriff Douglas Keir jailed Greens for 27 months, backdated to April 2023.

And during a court hearing, he banned him from having any contact with Ms. Gibson for two years.

We told how the monster initially tried to blame his twin brother for the sexual assault of a 19-year-old Dutch student near the tourist hotspot Midlothian in 2005.

But he eventually admitted to dragging the girl across the floor, threatening her with a knife, repeatedly hitting her in the face and raping her in the historic chapel.

After his release in 2017, he was detained again for another violation of his release conditions.

And after being released from prison for the third time in 2022, Greens was evicted from his home in Danderhall, Midlothian, following protests from concerned residents.

Just a few months later, the animal was allegedly attacked by a family member who found it hidden in a closet in his ex-wife’s house in January last year.
