A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a teenager.
Investigators from the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office’s Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation (TRACE) and Gang Crime Units have arrested Kevin Carcamo-Garcia in connection with the disappearance of a 14-year-old North Carolina girl.

On July 3, TRACE and gang investigators were contacted by the United States Marshals to assist in the search for the 14-year-old girl.
According to investigators, Carcamo-Garcia is said to have had a relationship with the minor.
He was arrested at his home in Gwinnett County.
According to investigators, Carcamo-Garcia admitted to “illegally transporting” the girl from North Carolina to Georgia.

The girl was safely transported to the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), where she was released to her mother.
Carcamo-Garcia is accused of rape and child abuse.
