Walnut Creek police arrest Concord resident for allegedly shooting another man downtown

Walnut Creek police have arrested a man suspected of shooting someone downtown last week.

On Friday, police presented the case to the district attorney, who charged Cavazos with assault with an enhanced semi-automatic firearm, discharging a firearm with gross negligence and possession of a firearm despite previous convictions for violent crimes.
