Firefighters said no one was injured in the blaze.

ATLANTA — Firefighters put out a small fire at the U.S. Post Office on Moreland Avenue in Atlanta on Monday.

According to Atlanta Fire Department Capt. Monterio Stidwell, the fire started outside the building and then spread inside.

There were no injuries or casualties from the fire and postal workers were able to evacuate the building, Stidwell said.

Video obtained by 11Alive viewer Johnathan Carey shows firefighters spraying the top of the building with a hose and damage to the front near the roof.

At least one lane of traffic on Moreland Avenue was partially blocked as first responders worked on the fire.
