Brook Park man killed in shooting at Steelyard Commons

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A 21-year-old Brook Park man was killed in a shooting at the Steelyard Commons shopping center early Sunday morning.

Cleveland police said the shooting likely occurred during a planned car meet.

The Cuyahoga County Coroner identified the victim as Jaycobe Mynatt.

Cleveland Police responded to the 3300 block of Steelyard Dr. around 4:15 a.m. on July 7.

When they arrived, they found Mynatt.

Emergency services took him to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests are made.
