Drew McIntyre suspended indefinitely by WWE

For those of you who have not tuned in Money in the bank After last night’s show (Sat., July 6, 2024) at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, you may have missed Drew McIntyre completely freaking out because CM Punk screwed him over again.

McIntyre actually kept his promise and won the Money in the Bank contract before cashing it in that same night, but he failed because Punk was back and continued to make his life hell.

He responded by losing his mind after the show, including elbowing Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. His response was to suspend McIntyre indefinitely:

He also announced a fine for McIntyre – and Punk too, whatever that means – and promised more to come. Monday Night Raw this week. McIntyre will definitely not show up.

Surely.

What’s interesting here is that they’re clearly trying to get to McIntyre vs. Punk. SummerSlam but there’s less than a month until WWE hits Cleveland for the big event. Maybe the Second City Saint will have more trouble getting cleared than hoped?

We just have to keep at it.
