Reportedly fatal highway crash in Raynham under investigation – Boston 25 News

RAYNHAM, Massachusetts – Officials are investigating a reported fatal highway crash in Raynham on Saturday.

A Massachusetts State Police spokesman said troopers were called to a reported fatal crash at the intersection of Route 24 and Interstate 495.

According to police, the car was smoking as it drove off the highway into the forest.

A drone video from the scene of the accident shows rescue workers crowding around the vehicle, which came to a stop between a group of trees between the two lanes.

The state police could not initially say how many people were in the car at the time of the accident.
