Serenity Alanna Marie Kinsey AMBER Alert: Missing girl from Dandridge, Tennessee, found dead in Douglas Lake

DANDRIDGE, Tenn. (WATE) – A missing East Tennessee girl who was the subject of a statewide AMBER alert has been found dead, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced.

A dive team found the body of seven-year-old Serenity Alanna Marie Kinsey in Douglas Lake at 11:18 a.m. Thursday.

Serenity, who was autistic and unable to speak, was last seen at her home on Indian Creek Road in Dandridge around 1 a.m. Thursday.

“We have a heartbreaking update on the search for Serenity Kinsey. A dive team recently found her body in the lake near her home. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.”
